I managed to do something less saturated than I usually do and I'm really happy hehe hope you like it too!!
I really hate what the anime has done to him. Now his depression in Re is totally meaningless and will only be interpretated as his obsession, just like when he showed up out of the blue at the end of Root A - WHICH ACTUALLY MADE SENSE IN THE MANGA.
I have a lot of feelings about the Tsukiyama family, please put up with me.

Omg my friend and I were talking about how the mythological origins for ghouls and mermaids are super similar, so they’re basically sea ghouls and how we could see Tsukiyama being like “Actually - I’m a LAND MERMAN.” (idk maybe you had to be there).
Anyhow, oh no, what did the anime do now? I haven’t seen it yet, but ppl were saying that it’s supposed to be a lot closer to the manga, and I assumed that meant they were going to try to portray him how he was actually supposed to be, and less of a spaz, but apparently not. I’m more concerned however about Kanae making her anime debut, and that they won’t do her justice. I saw her character design for the anime and I wasn’t too impressed. Tbh I’m debating if I’ll even watch the new season.
